kernel 3.19.0-18: works for me with dell e6500 under 15.04-lubuntu (i386 architecture) (while kernel 3.19.0-17 was not working). Yes, I am using 64 bit version. Your modified build boots OK both systemd and upstart. Which one did you try, or both?
