[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1473540] Re: Kernels above 3.16.33 have problem with Intel 9C60 controller

2015-08-26 Thread Pawel
I have found that Packard Bell EN TF71BM is direct clone of Acer
ES1-511. Both ones use the same BIOS.

Here someone wrote about touch pad problems

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1473540] Re: Kernels above 3.16.33 have problem with Intel 9C60 controller

2015-08-15 Thread Pawel
At the moment I use clean Debian Jessie (stable) on Intel Bay Trail platform
(N2830)
without any problem. Everything is okay.

I had to switch in the BIOS touchpad into basic mode. There is no problems with
xhci and 9C60
My current kernel is Debian 3.16.7-ckt11-1+deb8u3 (2015-08-04) x86_64 GNU/Linux

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1473540] Re: Kernels above 3.16.33 have problem with Intel 9C60 controller

2015-08-05 Thread Pawel
Hi there,

I would like to report that the latest kernel (utopic) 3.16.0-45-generic
works well with elantech 0501 touch pad used in the Packard Bell EN
TF71BM.

3.16.0-33-genericand earlier 3.16.xx had problems with multitouch and
right click

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1473540] Re: Kernels above 3.16.33 have problem with Intel 9C60 controller

2015-08-05 Thread Pawel
In the bios there are two setting for touch pad: advanced and basic

Now (3.16.00-45) touchpad works well in advanced mode but when I set
basic mode in bios system hangs at start.

In the other hand there is huge progress because I can work in advanced
mode
