[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1477587] Re: One black screen of two when both on 1080p60
Since the regression started in 3.19.0-22.22 (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/3.19.0-22.22), it looks like its a stable update regression. I noticed in the upstream stable 3.18.18 release a few radeon commits were reverted that we haven't reverted yet Revert drm/radeon: don't share plls if monitors differ in audio support Revert drm/radeon: adjust pll when audio is not enabled https://lkml.org/lkml/2015/7/11/94 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1477587 Title: One black screen of two when both on 1080p60 Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in linux source package in Vivid: Confirmed Bug description: One display turns off when both outputs are set to 1920x1080@60.0. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1477587] Re: One black screen of two when both on 1080p60
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream stable kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.19 stable kernel[0]. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'. Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as Confirmed. Thanks in advance.
