[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1797975] Re: [armhf+raspi2] Error: Driver 'sdhost-bcm2835' is already registered, aborting

2018-11-05 Thread Anthony Wong
Looks like same issue as reported in
https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/2098. We have
CONFIG_MMC_BCM2835=y defined but not in raspberry pi upstream (I'm
looking at
https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/blob/rpi-4.14.y/arch/arm/configs/bcm2709_defconfig).
Interestingly, both drivers/mmc/host/bcm2835.c and
drivers/mmc/host/bcm2835-sdhost.c contains "MODULE_ALIAS("platform
:sdhost-bcm2835");"

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1797975] Re: [armhf+raspi2] Error: Driver 'sdhost-bcm2835' is already registered, aborting

2018-10-16 Thread Paul Larson
I also saw this on cosmic release candidate with rpi2. I ran apport-
collect 1797975 as suggested but I'm not sure it really gathered
anything new
