Sorry for another comment.
Just restarted the computer again and had no troubles with the screens.

When the problem appears again, I will inform you here.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1805122] Re: One of two monitor work after 18.10 update

2018-11-27 Thread Patrick Kuen
Hello,

I just posted my log files because I experience the same problems. (first time
posting - sorry in advance).
I upgraded to 18.10 today and when I start the computer and log in, one screen
(my primary screen) turns black, but seems to be active, because when I move
the cursor to the edge of the screen it seems to be on the other screen.

I have to renew the monitor settings and the screen changes active.

2018-11-26 Thread Joseph Salisbury
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.20 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
"Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.
