[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1862159] Re: Networking through Thunderbolt 3 Gen 2 stops working after a while
Great, let's close it. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1862159 Title: Networking through Thunderbolt 3 Gen 2 stops working after a while Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: After booting into 5.3.0-26 on my Lenovo X390, it has started to loose network connection when connected to the Thunderbolt 3 Gen 2 dock after a while. It varies how long it takes, but anywhere from quite fast after boot to several hours of uptime. Suddenly no traffic goes through the interface in the dock, but the device seems to be up. It varies how long it takes, but anywhere from quite fast after boot to several hours of uptime. Suddenly no traffic goes through the interface in the dock, but the device seems to be up. Enabling wifi after it happens works fine, but unselecting "Enable Networking" in network manager, or quitting it, makes the whole computer hang (can move mouse, but no input from keyboard is registered anymore, or so it seems at least) Rebooting after it happens requires hard reset, as nothing happens after Network Manager should stop.
