Title:
Battery drain during sleep. System suspended before kernel suspends
  all tasks

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Description: Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS
  Release: 16.04

I think this is similar to: Bug #1825636
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1825636

Machine: Lenovo ThinkPad L390, fresh install

Suspend drains the battery in approx 1 day.

journalctl -b | grep -i "should not be sleeping" returns:
"cache: parent cpu1 should not be sleeping"

  for all cpus

This is a real problem, as I rely on suspending frequently!
