[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1944018] Re: ath11k_pci sometimes crashes on suspend/resume on Dell XPS 13 9310
Matt, double-thank you for pointing out the OEM kernel versioning system I had no idea existed. Plus, I have been testing the C kernel for two weeks now and had no issues with the WIFI waking up. (I had, though, an issue with the Bluetooth not reconnecting my devices correctly a couple of times -- a different issue that may be related to the current patch(?) -- but it can be solved with turning BT off and on again.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux-oem-5.10 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1944018 Title: ath11k_pci sometimes crashes on suspend/resume on Dell XPS 13 9310 Status in linux-oem-5.10 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Sometimes when my Dell XPS 13 9310 resumes from suspend, the display fails to show anything for a short while. It seems there is a patch for the 5.13 kernel: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215103 This is a very annoying bug that makes one re-start the machine every couple of days because, as Matt said above, you cannot manually restart the module. ** Bug watch added: Linux Kernel Bug Tracker #215103 https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215103 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux-oem-5.10 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1944018 Title: ath11k_pci sometimes crashes on suspend/resume on Dell XPS 13 9310 Status in linux-oem-5.10 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Sometimes when my Dell XPS 13 9310 resumes from suspend, the display fails to show anything for a short while.
