I'm having trouble connecting to a wireless router (an Alcatel HH40V internet cube). It's the only router I've been having this problem on. The problem is that although NetworkManager authenticates, it then times out when trying to associate the interface (relevant part of syslog below). I'm able to fix this manually by removing and inserting the iwlwifi module: $ sudo -rf iwlwifi $ sudo -v iwlwifi After I do this, I can connect to the router. The only differences in the output of lsmod is 1. The module ccm is loaded ccm 20480 6 2. The aesni_intel module shows being used by 4 more modules: Before: aesni_intel 376832 6 After: aesni_intel 376832 10 Simply running `modprobe ccm` doesn't fix it. I have no idea if this is simply a misconfiguration on my system, or a problem with a startup script somewhere, but I thought I'd report it. Also, would like to know how to fix this in such a way that it works after restart (right now I have to do the remove/insert iwlwifi after every reboot).
