The error message I get is slightly different: " tpm_crb: probe of MSFT0101:00 failed with error 378 " As https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2047692 was marked as duplicate of this ticket I'll add my original comment here, too - sorry if this breaks launchpad's rules. 6.2.0-39.40~22.04.1 includes upstream stable patchset 2023-10-10 (https://launchpad.net/bugs/2038969) with the TPM changes 'Disable RNG for all AMD fTPMs' and 'Add a helper for checking hwrng enabled'. This causes on some Intel devices that TPM does not work (in my case a Gigabyte Brix GB-BSi5-1135G7).
