Title:
Suspend/hibernate goes to "Screen Locked" on Eee 1005

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: acpi-support

I have a Asus Eee PC 1005 HA netbook and suspend and hibernate don't work at
all in Lucid. It used to work in Karmic, however, so this is kind of a
regression bug.
When I try to suspend or hibernate my netbook it goes straight to the "Screen
Locked" UI as if it had just woken up. My WLAN device is deactivated after that
and I have to manually reactivate it in order for it to resume working.
If I can provide any further information regarding this bug I would be glad
to do so.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 572883] Re: Suspend/hibernate goes to "Screen Locked" on Eee 1005

2014-12-04 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
co0lingFir3, thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Lucid Desktop reached
EOL on May 9, 2013.
See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

Is this reproducible in the latest release of Ubuntu via
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ ?

If so, please execute the following via a terminal in order for the necessary
debugging information to be attached:
