This patch looks fine to me but would one of our macos devs please take a look at this to make sure it is correct. As for the symlink names, I don't know that the capitalization is all that important unless it's a macos-centric thing. I don't have an opinion on this one way or the other. The capitalization which has always been part of the original naming scheme, although there have been bugs in the strings from time to time.
