Bug ID: 315747
Summary: Make columns displayed in the Accounts view user
selectable.
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmymoney4
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: CONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kmymoney-devel@kde.org
  Reporter: agande...@gmail.com

(From kmymoney-devel list)

I would like to be able to select the columns displayed in the Accounts
 view.

I only use for domestic accounting therefore Tax columns are of no
interest. I would like this view to display bank sort code and account
 numbers.

Reproducible: Always

Do we have a wish list item on http://bugs.kde.org for this one? Who
can open it, so that the stuff does not get lost.

Done, in case OP does not have access. Bug 315747 - Make columns
displayed in the Accounts view user selectable.

[Kmymoney-devel] A bug in the current stable release

2013-02-25 Thread Mark Blanton
I have been unable to connect to Capital One Bank since February 15th.
On their website I saw a notice that Capital One Bank has upgraded
security requirements to the latest OFX standard. How do I fix this
problem?

I know nothing about aqbanking, but if (as I suspect) the actual connection is
really made by libofx, if you create an empty file in your home directory named
ofxlog.txt. Then, the next time you try to connect, you will get a more
detailed log of the connection in that file. That might give a hint, or you
can post it here, after making sure to remove data such as account number or
any password.

Most OFX server software is (in my opinion) notoriously bad about providing
useful error messages. In this case, it could be the version of Quicken it
doesn't like, but without a more detailed message or log, we can't be sure.

KMyMoney – User Requested Change

1.Open the Program.

2.Click on Settings.

3.Click on General

4.Select Global

5.On ‘Your fiscal year starts on’ – select the day and month required.

In my case this would be 1 July.

6.Close this Window.

Now click on the ‘Budgets’ icon on the left side of the screen.

The bottom right pane of this window shows the months of the calendar year with
blank boxes ready to insert values.

My query is this –

Instead of this feature automatically listing Jan thru’ Dec, can the selected
fiscal year be automatically listed when it is set as per 1. thru’ 6. above?

(In my case this would be Jul thru’ Jun.)
