Re: Stooq.pl reliablility
From my POV everything works correctly. You've certainly not applied fix from https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kmymoney-devel/2018-June/020923.html Please do not bother stooq.pl peoples with your problems as they might disable their service for us. We have no agreements with them to provide us service and certainly they aren't obliged to make it KMyMoney compatible in any way. Re: Stooq.pl reliablility
Hi Thomas, I asked them what's the reason for this 100× multiplication and they replied that they use multipliers with premeditation. Full name of HUFEUR ticker is "Hungarian Forint / Euro 10^2:1" and it contains the multiplier (10^2:1 = 100:1). I asked whether an API exists to retrieve the ticker name but I got no response for that, unfortunately. Anyway, as it seems, from 07. 01. simply there is no data returned at all for any query (not just for HUF and EUR). I took a look at the raw data provided by stooq.pl for the day in question and here are the results: thb@thb-nb:~/tmp$ curl 'https://stooq.pl/q/d/l/?s=EURHUF=20180502=20180502=d' Data,Otwarcie,Najwyzszy,Najnizszy,Zamkniecie 2018-05-02,314.07,314.721,312.978,314.49 thb@thb-nb:~/tmp$ curl 'https://stooq.pl/q/d/l/?s=HUFEUR=20180502=20180502=d' Data,Otwarcie,Najwyzszy,Najnizszy,Zamkniecie 2018-05-02,0.31836,0.31951,0.31774,0.31796 So how should KMyMoney know, that in one case the numbers are too big by a factor of 100? > Besides, the response truncates results to 5 digits which reduces > accuracy a bit. Yes, but it's the accuracy which is provided by the server, so nothing KMyMoney can do about. > Please, take a look at this issue. > > Thank you and all the best, Any idea of how to improve the situation? -- Regards Thomas Baumgart https://www.telegram.org/ Telegram, the better WhatsApp - We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. - Albert Einstein - signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.
Re: Stooq.pl reliablility
Hi Ákos, no problem on this side. Everything works correctly. You've probably set "Price Fraction" during CSV import to something else than 1, so that you've got your rates multiplied. Stooq.pl reliablility
Dear developers, I noticed that in my account the HUF <> EUR change works erratically. I downloaded two .csv files from stooq.pl which represents HUF-EUR and EUR-HUF exchange rates respectively (as KMyMoney downloads it): - http://stooq.pl/q/d/l/?s=HUFEUR=20180501=20180531=d - http://stooq.pl/q/d/l/?s=EURHUF=20180501=20180531=d See 2nd of May: - EUR - HUF: 314.49 Ft (correct according to the official source [1]) - HUF - EUR: 0.31796 € EURHUF == 1/HUFEUR?
