I wonder... Is this discussion mixing up two different things a bit? For me, "self check" in relation to Koha can mean (at least) two different things: 1. A self check "station" that runs dedicated software, and that communicates with Koha via SIP2 2. Some computer running a browser, possible locked down to "kiosk mode" and possibly with a touch screen, that is set to display the "self check web interface" of Koha, as described here: http://manual.koha-community.org/3.12/en/selfcheckout.html Or is everyone just talking about one of those? Hi Friends ! Recently I have upgraded Koha version from 3.08.07 to 3.12.04 .It works but we can't find new catologized records. We removed old zebra index and tried indexing with ./rebuild_zebra.pl -b -a - z -v command . [Koha] Branchcode Error
I am hoping someone can help me fix this problem with our system. I am a volunteer librarian at a small elementary school that switched to Koha about a year and a half ago. I really have no support and have been trying to fix this problem for a while but cannot figure it out. Many of the books in our system come up with this error when they are checked out: Software error: C4::Calendar->new(branchcode => $branchcode) at/usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Circulation.pm line 2722 I think that I have isolated it to books that under the item view do not show a current location. Other books show the current location as the school name. However, when I go to edit items, it does show the school name there, so I don't see where I can edit this. This seems to be about 50% of the books in the library! If there is another way I can edit item location, please let me know. What version of Koha are you using? Does your version include batch modification of items? This would be a quick way of updating the records which lack branch information.
