[Koha] SIP2 Problem
Hi All, We are using Amazon EC2 linux wheezy (64 bit) instance for running koha 3.16.01, We are running Sip2 server now although we changed the line (port=127.0.0.1:6001/tcp) to our amazon private ip like this (port=10.106.151.178:6001/tcp) but when trying to logging by telnet the log file also gets us this error Bad arg length for Socket::unpack_sockaddr_in, length is 28, should be 16 at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/SIP/Socket.pm line 830. Although, the desired ports are opened and there's no any typo. thanks ___ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha

Now in latest version when i am importing, it stuck at some point/% and ultimately i got error message. what was your error message? The structure of my record is almost similar to below one, I feel their may be some more strict data validating rules in latest version of Koha which cause this problem but my marcedit software does not shows any error during validating the records. Please suggest the reasons and how to overcome this situation. in my experience, i have found that Koha's 'bulkmarcimport.pl' tool seems to prefer marcxml files more than plain old marc files, for importing i.e.: errors that are encountered in the marcxml file, seem to be handled better try converting your marc file to a marcxml file (using marc2xml), then import https://metacpan.org/pod/distribution/MARC-XML/bin/marc2xml With regards, Vinod Kumar Mishra, Assistant Librarian, Biju Patnaik Central Library, NIT Rourkela, Mob:91+9439420860 91+6612462103 (O) email: vinod_librar...@rediffmail.com : mishrav...@gmail.com Get your own FREE website, FREE domain FREE mobile app with Company email. [Koha] Call for Manual Help
Hi all, I'm writing because I have less than a month before the release of 3.18 and I actually haven't updated the 3.18 manual at all yet!! I have had a rough few months personally and lost track of time. I will be working on the manual all next week, but if you want to assist I welcome any and all patches! Basic info can be found here: http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Editing_the_Koha_Manual and all patches should be sent to the Koha-Docs list with the version of the manual you're patching in the subject or the summary. Thanks in advance for any help you can all provide. Nicole ___ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha
Re: [Koha] Z39.50 server timing out
Hi Paul, I would check for any firewalling that is preventing traffic coming through on those specific ports. They are commonly blocked, and often need to be explicitly opened. I have tried 199.197.115.61:210, z3950.nexpresslibrary.org:5110, sekls.bywatersolutions.com :9998 but they all seem to timeout or give me an error. I tried http://zserver.spl.org/ into the URL of a browser and I get an error yet I can pull up www.spl.org just fine. If I try http://lx2.loc.gov:210/ it works fine. Any ideas why all the others fail except for the Library of Congress? Our server is located in Papua New Guinea and we use a VSAT internet connection.
