[Koha] How to start search suggestion in OPAC
Dear all, Recently I have installed koha 3.16 in Debian wheezy 7. My library authority asked me to facilitate search suggestion in OPAC searching. That means when a user will search in search box he will be shown the related items available in our koha database. The best example is Google search, as Google shows suggestion under the term. The info you need regarding size is right here: http://manual.koha-community.org/3.16/en/catalogtools.html#uploadlocalimages in short there is no size restriction applied. Also The source image is used to generate a 140 x 200 px thumbnail image and a 600 x 800 px full-size image. [Koha] Koha 3.18 : Search Patrons -- Possible Bug
Hi guys, My server is Debian 7, and Koha was installed using the packages (koha-common). I upgraded to Koha 3.18, and now searching the patrons works only if I enter borrower number. Searching by name, first or surname, email address does not work (search returns nothing). Hi Josef, I've just upgraded to Koha 3.18 (Debian 7, packages install) and Patron searching is working well. As the result table is loaded via ajax, did you try to look in your browser developer tools, if there is some javascript error? Is it possible, that you have some user javascript in your staff client which can make this problem?? Okay, the search *and *the browsing work on Firefox. And the search or browsing does NOT work in Google Chrome 39.0.2171.71. I'll investigate more and report.
