[Koha] Old link in http://koha-community.org/download-koha/

2015-03-27 Thread Zeno Tajoli
Hi,

in the web page for download, http://koha-community.org/download-koha/
there is an old link for 3.18.
Koha 3.18.0 (.tar.gz) points to
http://download.koha-community.org/koha-3.18.00-beta.tar.gz

I think it needs an update.

[Koha] SIP2 Stability..

2015-03-27 Thread Jerwyn
Greetings!

We are currently working with SIP2 configuration, we were able to establish
the connection both koha and RFID system. From the Koha SIP2 server setup
http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_SIP2_server_setup we have carefully
followed the procedure.

However for some reason when we turn off the koha server we are having a
hard time to connect it again with the RFID system/SIP2 connection.

Any suggestion what we should do after we reboot the system?
After rebooting the server what we did is:
- koha-stop-sip
- koha-start-sip
- Open the LMS/RFID system
- Check the Logs and copy the handshake message
- telnet the ip/localhost 6001
- then paste the handshake message to telnet

Are we doing correctly? Does anyone experience this before?

Please advice and God bless!

- Jerwyn Fernandez, RL

[Koha] restriction period for several overdues

2015-03-27 Thread Carolina Andreu
Hello again,
We're working on Koha 3.16.03, and we've noticed that when checking in some
items with overdues Koha only takes the first checked in item to apply the
restriction period to that borrower.

We check in an overdue item, and then automatically Koha sets a restriction
period to the patron. If you immediately do the same process with another
overdue item for the same patron, it doesn't update the patron restriction
period, which remains with the same number of days than before.

Has anyone checked this behavior? Is this a bug we should report to the Koha
community?

We'd thank any comment on this issue.

Regards,

Carolina Andreu

Thanks for catching that. I have removed that section pointing to

beta release was available for testing.

fork the repo and create a pull request? Or both?

That doesn't look all that difficult:

 Dear all,

expect Koha to be able to handle such information. However, I'm

 Looking forward to your feedback.

Have you tried sending an email from the command line to make sure outbound

I have set up overdue notice/status triggers for 7, 14 and 28 days and
