Re: [Koha] Can we combine OPAC Item Status and Due Date into one column
Hi Indranil, It is working now. I had to remove another OPAC jquery where I renamed item status "Checked out" to "On loan". Thank you so much for your help. Much appreciated. [Koha] 3.18 upgrade, bug 13404 GRS1 v. DOM questions
hi all, Just upgrading from 3.10 to 3.18.06 on Debian. That's a big leap. Everything is looking and feeling totally alien. I am testing out the upgrade and added a record using the stage marc record/import staged record tools. However, the record does not show up in catalog search. I tried reindexing: koha-rebuild-zebra -f -v instancename. That seemed to go okay up until I got these weird errors: zebraidx(5004) [warn] Couldn't open collection.abs [No such file or directory]" and "Record didn't contain match fields in (bib1,Local-number)" The reindex proceeded but skipped the biblios. I found these 2 bugs that seem relevant: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13396 and http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13404 so it sounds like there is a patch. But where is the patch? I may be an idiot but I don't see it. I just see examples of code to manually add/fix in the koha.conf.xml. If there is a patch I can use to avoid manual editing, that would be excellent. Please advise. Thanks! The patch für 13404 is in Koha, you will see it in action if you go to the staff client > About Koha > System information and see warnings about GRS1/DOM settings with hints how to fix your settings. Unfortunately, the patch does not do it for you. There is a bug related to that,[1] but no patch so far. You can find some help regarding the manual editing in the wiki.[2] HTH, Mirko [1] http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13770 [2] http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Switching_to_dom_indexing -- Mirko Tietgen mi...@abunchofthings.net http://koha.abunchofthings.net signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz https://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha

Re: [Koha] Misleading OPAC search result availability information
Hi Iming, This seems right to me - On Order items are not in the library, so they are not immediately available. Some libraries allow borrowers to place pre-receive holds on On Order items, which probably explains this display. How do you think it should work, or what do you think it should say here?
