Hi List,

but we want to see the percent of reindexing too.

2018-05-28 Thread Father Vlasie
Dear Ah Win,

The SQL examples from this page:
https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Library

Can be copied and pasted into the custom SQL reports in Home › Reports
(your-koha-install/cgi-bin/koha/reports/reports-home.pl)

1) Copy the SQL from the sample

2) On the Reports page choose + Create from SQL

3) Enter a name for the report

4) Paste in the sample in the SQL box and click Save.

5) Click Saved Reports in the left hand column

6) Click Run on the report you would like.

Let us know if it works.

I used apt-get rather than apt:

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install koha-common

It may be superstition but I do not trust apt without the get!

[Koha] Fwd: OPAC Page not available and login credentials don't work

Subject: OPAC Page not available and login credentials don't work
To: koha-requ...@lists.katipo.co.nz

Hello there. My name is Bedanta. I am currently using Virtualbox to install
Koha on Ubuntu 18.04 and Koha liveDVD. I have faced problems in both
installations.

1) In case of Ubuntu, I have installed Koha using instructions given in
this page ( https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_ubuntu_-_packages
). The Staff Login page works fine and I can use all the library functions.
But the OPAC Page doesn't appear. All that appears is the Apache home page.
# Staff Client : 127.0.1.1:8080 or 127.0.0.1:8080
# Instead of OPAC Page, the apache home page appears in
the these addresses : 127.0.1.1 or 127.0.0.1

Q) How can I manage to appear the OPAC Page?

2) In case of koha livedvd, all features were doing fine untill I updated
the system and the koha-common packages. After the update, my root user and
password (koha_library & koha123) stopped working. But I can login with
another patron which I had created before the update was done. Why I loose
database user access after updating the software?

Q) How can I regain the database user access?

Please help me with the above two queries. Thank you.

Yours faithfully
Bedanta

Hi Hector

I would assume so. If you're not sure what setting is correct for you,
the manual may help:

https://koha-community.org/manual/18.05/en/html/02_administration.html#item-level-itypes

> Is there a procedure to do that?

Koha system preferences can directly be changed as a Koha user with
superlibrarian rights. You'll find this preference in in Koha ,menu
"Administration > Global system preferences > Cataloging > Record
Structure".

> I don't remember changing this preference, is it the default?

The default in Koha 18.05 is "specific item".

Hope that helps.

Re: [Koha] Koha 18.05.00 Debian package released

2018-05-28 Thread Mirko Tietgen
This may be the result of some local apt configuration. It works for
me (and others) with default configuration.

What you could do is
- make a backup (!!!)
- upgrade, allow koha-common and libhttp-oai-perl to be removed
- if koha-common 18.05 is not installed automatically afterwards,
install koha-common (18.05) again

Unless you remove with --purge, your installation should still work
and your Koha DB should be upgraded like normal. But as I said, make
a backup first.

HTH,

Mirko

Re: [Koha] Koha upgrade from 17.11 to 18.05

2018-05-28 Thread Narcis Garcia
This rare method (no apt upgrade), is not working for me in Debian 9 +
Koha 17.11 :

$ sudo apt install koha-common
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 koha-common : Depends: libnet-oauth2-authorizationserver-perl but it is
not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

When I try normal method; any of:
apt upgrade
apt full-upgrade
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade
; general packages can't be upgraded without uninstalling koha-common
