Re: [Koha] Indicators in authorities when cataloguing a book record
Hi, which version of Koha are you using? Koha 18.05 allows to configure the behaviour for indicators. See: Bug 14769 - Authorities merge: Set correct indicators in biblio field https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14769 Hope this helps, Katrin On 15.07.2018 15:40, drojup wrote: Hi there, I noticed that when you search for an authority record when cataloguing a book record and selecting one, you can't type anything inside indicators fields (in the book record). I would very much like to be unsubscribed from the Koha list for librarians. I was interested more in becoming an end user of the database, as a researcher. I do not want to work with setting up a library system. Re: [Koha] Batch restriction of patrons?
Hi, at the moment it's not possible to send more than three overdue notices after the due date with Koha. I've found some related bug reports on bugzilla: Bug 12771 - Enhancement to manage more than 3 levels of overdue notice https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=12771 Bug 17772 - Overdue Notice/Status triggers tool https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=12772 Unfortunately it doesn't look like there is active development on them at the moment. Currently our system has only three triggers at the interval of 30 days and the third one happens to be last one!! I feel, there should not be any limitation about the number of triggers, and the system shall keep reminding the patron as long as the expected (either check-in or write-off or similar) action happens. Please advise. In other words, this would affect any patron who happened to hold onto materials too long, & not just those for whom we happened to be the home branch. Correct?
