[Koha] Intranet pending notification

2020-08-14 Thread Alvaro Cornejo
Hi

Is there a way to move/duplicate the pending notification area to, for
example the intranet breadcrumbs areas? or have a pop-up notification?

Librarians can´t see it if they are anywhere away from the main intranet or
they do not refresh it. Also in some low resolution screens, Librarian need
to scroll down the main screen to check if there is something pending.

Checking the code I saw that is it defined like:

 Article
requests:
 1

Might it be possible using js? Any clue?

Regards,

Alvaro

Hi Luis,

How did you install Koha and how did you upgrade? The search/indexing
behaviour should usually not change that much, but there are some things
that depend on server side setup. Did you move your database to a fresh
installation or did you updating your existing one?

What do you mean, but it's not recognized? Where should it be sorting?

our catalog when trying to search a book, capital letter ( *É* , *Á, etc)
are not recognize.*

*I think the problem was on these files: *sort-string-utf.chr and
word-phrase-utf.chr , but now someone told me the error is on a MARC file.

Which file?
How this file has to be to recognize the correct order in a sort?

Thanks at lot.

Re: [Koha] Cross Reference function

2020-08-14 Thread Katrin Fischer

Hi Bruck,

have you taken a look at the IncludeSeeFromInSearches system preference?
It requires a full reindex after being activated, but might do, what you
are thinking about. It's activating additional search options and allows
to search for the see from forms in the normal catalog search.

Hope this helps,

Dear Friends,

I am looking at Cross Reference function for search. I am aware this function
is available and searchable in the Authority files. However, my question is
can we search for these 'See also' in the basic and advance search fields? If
yes, how do we activate this? At the moment, my 'See also' only works in
Authority. If no, are there plugin or other existing process/function to
handle this?

Thank you for your advice.

Bruck Tadesse.

Re: [Koha] Circulation bug which affects CART functionality

2020-08-14 Thread Jonathan Druart
It seems that we assume permanent_location must be set.

I would recommend updating your data and set the
items.permenant_location=items.location when it's not defined.
