Re: [Koha] Koha on Debian 10

2022-06-03 Thread Alen Vodopijevec

Hi!

It depends on what you are trying to achieve.

If you would like to install Koha you need Debian (or Ubuntu). It is
possible to create a virtual machine on Win11 using eg. Virtualbox ..
And afterwards follow the procedure of installing operating system and Koha.

Use the latest versions.. If have old Koha install then you will need to
upgrade it.

For example.. follow this post:
https://www.vijenderkumar.com/2022/05/install-koha-on-windows-through-virtual.html

We have similar problem here. I didn't have time yet to check everything -
is it possible that remove_items_from_biblioitems.pl script caused

Hi!

You can try with URL that we use for html export of recently acquired
books. All you have to get from database is ISBN.

Take a look here:

[Koha] Koha 3.4.7. // additem.pl

2012-01-13 Thread Alen Vodopijevec
Hi!

We have a strange behaviour on test upgrade 3.4.4 -> 3.4.7. with
adding an item (additem.pl)

Select options for all fields that have value >0 (2 or 4 for example)
for "hidden" variable in subfield constraints in MARC bibliographic
framework are not shown on Additem form. I'm not sure if this is a
feature or bug.

The only thing that I can see is an addition at around line 203 of additem.pl:

   if ($subfieldlib->{'hidden'}) {
   $subfield_data{marc_value} = qq( $authorised_lib{$value});
   }
   else {
   $subfield_data{marc_value} =CGI::scrolling_list(
# FIXME: factor out scrolling_list
   -name => "field_value",
   -values   => \@authorised_values,
   -default  => $value,
   -labels   => \%authorised_lib,
   -override => 1,
   -size => 1,
   -multiple => 0,
   -tabindex => 1,
   -id   =>
"tag_".$tag."_subfield_".$subfieldtag."_".$index_subfield,
   -class=> "input_marceditor",
   );
   }

If I remove the first IF statement or if I set "hidden" to "0" in MARC
bibliographic framework settings for that particular subfield, select
options are shown.

We have a same issue with 3.6.2 testing Koha. Any suggestions are welcome :).

regards,
alen

I'm about to leave the Koha project I've been volunteering on, and I need to

What I have been doing is CSV export, then importing into LibreOffice

it's too much work — the person who replaces me will never want to do that. The
problem is that we automatically split our call numbers into 3 lines, so the
margins are not the standard ones.

Does anyone know a simpler way of exporting labels into a template or file that
is pre-formatted in terms of fonts and margins? I am not against using Word or
some other commercial software.

Thanks,
