If I understand correctly, you would like to disallow a batch of users from
logging into OPAC but the staff users should still be able to
checkout/checkin books to those users. Is that right ?

A script will be needed to make this work.

[Koha] dateaccessioned in biblio details page

Hello koha community,

In the staff interface, we would like to show dateaccessioned from items
table as one of the fields on biblio details page where all items are
listed with other fields.

We have tried playing with the .yml file already. This did not work.

Our version is 17.11.

Are there any system preferences that need to be altered ?

Any information on this subject is highly appreciated.

You will have to use the function ExtractValue() for extracting the public
note. Once you do that, just download the CSV and sort that column in a
spreadsheet application. Should do the trick.

[Koha] Item due / overdue templates

Hello All,

We have emails set to be sent through crontab - the email of item due
reminder and overdue items. One of the template works and we are able to
get item details, borrower details etc. However, the other template just
does not work. Has anyone faced a similar issue in the past?

Any clues will help.

[Koha] Checkout time in logs is wrong

Hello Koha people,

We have a strange problem. One of the koha installations shows wrong
checkout time in checkout history.

We have checked server timezone. It's correct. The check-in times are
correct, surprizingly.

Any help in understanding what is going wrong is appreciated.

[Koha] Patron export to PDF

Hello all,

I have a problem. When I export list of patrons to PDF, the code shows me
error that Graphics::Magick is not installed. This module is not mandatory
as shown by the koha_perl_deps script. Why is this error still shown? How
do I fix this? I tried installing this module but I get a message that the
module is already installed and is up to date.

Any help is appreciated.

Dear Experts,



Issue: Our Koha server is unable to send email notification for any
activity done (e.g. check-in/check-out)

Requirement: Every action such as check-in/check-out should send an email
notification to the patrons.


Environment Overview:

· We have Koha 3.14 with Debian O.S.

· Microsoft Exchange 2010 server

· Configured A.D. to Koha using LDAP

o   Our domain users are able to login into the OPAC and Admin pages

o   This means the LDAP is configured successfully



Attempts:



· Tried Sendmail (no email is sent)

· Configured Postfix (email can be sent to gmail, hotmail, etc.)

o   Emails are going only through the terminal (mail -v t...@gmail.com) but
not through check-in/check-out

· Configured Postfix with SMTP (no email is sent)



Would appreciate your valuable inputs and suggestions.
