Our library has upgraded to the new version of Koha (19.05.00 on Debian 
9 using packages).  We have a number of older librarians who are 
experiencing trouble with the new “flat” style of the staff Basic editor 
(addbiblio.pl). They prefer this to the Advanced Editor so I don’t want 
to teach them a new routine. I have looked through the documentation, 
Bugzilla and the lists and did not see anything that stood out about how 
to configure a CSS for this page or change the look and feel. I freely 
admit that I might have missed something that is clearly documented.


What I am trying to accomplish is to add some contrast to the tabs and 
adjust where the field entry boxes appear on the screen. Am I out of 
bounds in trying to make these style changes (I like to stay as generic 
as possible in the configuration), or where should I look?


Also, I noticed that when  you select “Save and continue editing”  the 
page focus is charged to tab 9 rather than returning to the tab you were 
working on. This is new behavior, but is it the expected behavior now?

I migrated the data to create 3 authority catalog of authors.

When I’m adding a new record on the catalog I go to Tab 1, field 100 and tag a 
and try to add an author, the system show me the authority search window but 
when I write the name of an author that I know that is in the catalog the 
system don’t show me it.

Somebody can help me?

I moved koha 3.16.01 database on test machine to koha 3.16.03 on another machine. And I 
run zebra normally. I showed that catalog search in intranet is correct but  I got a 
warning that No results found! for same search in opac.

I looked system preferences but everything seems correct. Do you have any idea 
for this problem?

Virtual machine working, downloaded latest version of koha (in English), 
added SBN (Italy) on  z39.90  and followed the newbies guide on Koha.org 
so library, staff and patrons are set.


The first book is Acciaio by Silvia Avallone ISBN 9788817053044

I imported this first book from SBN but it won't let me save it as some 
of the fields are mandatory:


Here are some of the problem fields and my questions:

*200(5) t2 *what does it want here? Library name? My version of koha 
says here: /Nom de institution à laquelle s'applique cette zone - /don't 
ask *me *why it's in French!


If so is there a way not to write every single time?

*200(e)* Other Title Information
As the field is mandatory what do I write here???

Is there a set of examples *for dummies* with detailed examples and full 
explanations to learn to fill the various fields? From easy to 
difficult? If there isn't there should be . If I weren't one of the 
dummies I'd be most willing to write one.

We are wondering if there is a way to sort a List or cart by call number?  It 
would make going to the shelf to look for the books much easier when a teacher 
sends us the cart or list.

I am working with Koha 3.2 and have done some testing in Koha 3.4 as well and 
can't seem to find a place that I am able to do this.

Am I just missing something?
