They are mostly unused in adult daily life and I can't imagine anyone trying to add diacritics to their name (most people even don't know how to type those). And if the odd person comes along who tries that, removing those would be totally fine. I'll jump over the other discussion see if I can help. Although I'm a Koha user/admin and I know Hebrew, I don't mix the two :) ___ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz https://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha
[Koha] overdue notice lists all checked out books
Hi, I noticed this after upgrading to 3.18.1 (from 3.16). If a patron has overdue items, they receive the overdue notice, but the list of overdue items includes all the books they have checked out, not only the overdue ones. I also get this error on the cron run, not sure if it's related: Use of uninitialized value $borrowernumber in string eq at /usr/share/koha/bin/cronjobs/overdue_notices.pl line 544. Installed on Debian from the koha repositories. ___ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha

Done, thanks (http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13468). Some project don't like bugs submission before checking on the mailing list.. I wasn't sure what's your preference... --y On 12/15/2014 01:09 PM, Liz Rea wrote: Hi, Please file this as a bug at http://bugs.koha-community.org and someone will have a look. :) Cheers, Liz On 16/12/14 07:21, Yuval Hager wrote: Hi, I noticed this after upgrading to 3.18.1 (from 3.16). [Koha] Overdue notices sent to a random patron (3.16)
Hi, I just upgraded to Koha 3.16 using the Debian repo on Thursday. Everything went fine and was working well. On Friday, I found out that a patron received 51 emails of advanced due notices of other patrons. I confirmed this with the server mail logs, but I have no idea why this happened. I verified that this patron's email address only shows up under their record on the borrowers table. Checking the email logs, it seems that it sends a bunch of emails to a single patron, then another bunch to another (I don't know what the content is), so I'm suspecting something strange is going on. I tried running the overdue_notices.pl script with -n -v, and it just spit out a list of messages to be sent, but not the email address it would send it to. Any ideas where to begin searching to investigate this? Thanks, --yuval ___ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha
