Dear Arunraj,
It's always good to upgrade to latest stable version.
I believe koha 3.10 also has the facility to generate label.
Regarding auto generation, koha does not have that feature. You need to use
labels creation facilities and put accession number for which you want to
print labels.

Hi,
First you need add values in Authorised values.
After adding authorised value, you can either edit item information or add
while adding new item in koha.
Hope this helps.

Re: [Koha] SQL Reports on catalogue (list of books added/ entered date wise i.e today )

2019-09-24 Thread vikram zadgaonkar
You may use date parameter. see if following is useful for you:

SELECT items.barcode AS Barcode, biblio.author AS Author, biblio.title AS
Title, items.itemcallnumber AS Shelflocation,biblio.datecreated AS
DateCreated,
items.itype AS Type,
items.price AS Cost,
FROM biblio_metadata
LEFT JOIN biblioitems on
(biblio_metadata.biblionumber=biblioitems.biblionumber)
LEFT JOIN items on (items.biblioitemnumber=biblioitems.biblioitemnumber)

LEFT JOIN biblio on (biblio_metadata.biblionumber=biblio.biblionumber)

WHERE biblio.datecreated BETWEEN <> AND
<> ORDER BY items.barcode ASC

Else you can use option Build report in koha.

[Koha] NCIP project

Dear All,
We are working on NCIP server integration with koha.We are looking for
support for the same.

Currently, ncip framework (server and responses etc) appears to be working.
However, data from koha db is not being picked up. There appears to be some
communication error between the koha library (C4) and ncip server's modules.

We need help to get this working.Let me know if any one can contribute. We
have funding for this.

Re: [Koha] Is it possible to reserve available books?

2017-02-02 Thread vikram zadgaonkar
Hi Michael,
It's possible. You just need to update circulation policy and hold policy.

Hi

In Koha it is possible to place holds on books that are CHECKED OUT.

Is it also possible to place a reservation on a book that is NOT checked
out?

The idea is that the user is at home, finding an interesting book in the
OPAC - the book is available but he cannot go immediately to the library to
pick it up. Thus he wants to place a reservation on the book so noone else
can check it out - the library will then take that book out of the shelf
waiting for the user to arrive at the library.

This means:

* In the OPAC there has to be a possibility for the user to place the
reservation
* The library needs to be informed so the book can be taken out of the
shelf, waiting for the user

Is this possible in Koha?

Best wishes: Michael

Re: [Koha] Help needed in advanced searching with barcode

2017-01-25 Thread vikram zadgaonkar
Hi,
You can use bc:35 to search particular barcode or use advance search.

When I search for a bibliographic record using advanced search with barcode
eg 35 I get all the records with barcode containing 35, ie 135,35, 3501
etc. how can I limit the search to getting the record with barcode exactly
matching "35" only?
