Sounds like your zebra stopped working.

Restart it with:

sudo koha-start-zebra

Git installation is meant only for developers. For everyone else, the
recommended method is using debian packages.

i installed different version of ubuntu but i failed to get result when i

i installed version 3.18 ,3.20 ,i installed from git i failed ,

packet or tarball installation, and on what operating system.]


Is Zebra running? What is the output of:

you@yourserver:/$ ps -aux | grep zebra

If it is running, did you re-index biblios and authorities?

it wasn't found.  I looked through the Administration preferences, and the
OPAC preferences with no luck.
 The test system is running 3.14.00  beta

Right -- although the did you mean settings are internally stored in a
system preference, they're not managed via the system preference editor.
 Instead, there's a separate page for managing them -- it can be reached
from the Administration home page.  Look for Did you mean? in the lower
right corner.

[Koha] No results found, suggestions - Koha 3.14 OPAC

We're running 3.12 in production and 3.14 in our test site.  I am
customizing the page that comes up with no results found by adding in some
links to other relevant sites.
That works fine.  But  in our test version of 3.14 there's a line at the
bottom of the page that says:
Not what you expected? Check for suggestions
and then after a short pause this changes to:
Sorry, no suggestions.
This would be fine if we didn't have a list of suggestions on where else to
look, but since we do, it looks a bit odd.

I have not been able to find the system preference that controls this
behaviour.  How do I turn it off, or change the text?

Is there something I should run to re-index the database? What should I do
