There is also the issue presented in this discussion on IRC: http://stats.workbuffer.org/irclog/koha/2011-04-26#i_654179 which is: scanning a 2nd item (with a barcode scanner CR) while a "confirm hold" dialog is present doesn't check in the 2nd item *or* confirm or ignore the hold. The net result of this is as follows: An item that has an incoming transfer and a hold will have the transfer closed but the hold will go into oblivion (unless it is rescanned and confirmed through clicking). Problem: if the library is using autoMemberNum, this patch prevents the
cardnumber from being generated upon page load of members/memberentry.pl.
Seems to be this line that's the offender:

If autonumber_members is defined, then cardnumber SHOULDN'T be, because we're
auto-generating, and don't yet know what the max value is in the database. That
call comes later in the script.
This subroutine is only called in two places: member/memberentry.pl and
tools/import_borrowers.pl. In both cases, the undefined cardnumber should be
passed to the subroutine, and given back as 'undef' if autoMemberNum is off, or
the newly calculated cardnumber if ON.
Patch forthcoming.

Problem: if the library is using autoMemberNum, this patch prevents the
cardnumber from being generated upon page load of members/memberentry.pl.
Seems to be this line that's the offender:

If autonumber_members is defined, then cardnumber SHOULDN'T be, because we're
auto-generating, and don't yet know what the max value is in the database. That
call comes later in the script.
This subroutine is only called in two places: member/memberentry.pl and
tools/import_borrowers.pl. In both cases, the undefined cardnumber should be
passed to the subroutine, and given back as 'undef' if autoMemberNum is off, or
the newly calculated cardnumber if ON.
Patch forthcoming.

Piwik as I read, needs to be installed into the server, as awstats. There are some clients who can't install software into servers (servers in public administration, third parts...) because server managers dont want it, or maybe lost lot of time until its installed , and this solutions is the best for them. But if we put the description in and truncate it after X characters maybe we can put the code in there too in parens or something if the code is necessary to some libraries to identify the notes. The values in the menu come straight out of GetAuthorisedValues(), which sorts
its results by "category, lib, lib_opac." Rather than trying to re-sort the
data in circulation.pl I wonder if we should just change the output in the
template to display the note ('lib', the description) itself rather than the
authorised_value? The column size in the database is the same (varchar 80) for
both authorised_value and lib, so it's not like the description is going to get
too big, compared to the authorised_value, to show in the drop-down.

I changed the HOME phone and when I clicked save my changes were not saved, instead it showed the adult's info still, not the info I put in the record. It did add the new email I put in and it changed the address like I wanted - just the phone was not fixed. This only seems to happen when the attribute is edited by clicking on the 'edit' link below the attribute box on the patron's 'details' page- not when editing it through the edit button at the top. Example- I just created a library card for a student, including entering her barcode and then after saving the record, noticed that I could add her student ID number to the attribute field. I clicked on the edit link below the attribute box, added the ID number and saved the change. When her details page popped back up, there was no longer a barcode. I double-checked this with my own account (Student) and another staff account.
