Hence the need to use a different borrowernumber than your own. Now that SCO handles it's own renewals, this is just a security risk. Marking Passed QA. OK, now I remember: it was when AixMarseille univ tested bulk item
modifications. We discovered that, for firefox, no value selected in a SELECT
was ignored in the array returned if the select was an array, while chrome was
returning a blank.
Example:
choose
choose
choose
If the user select empty/option1/option1 in the select, the arrays in perl, if
you call the page from chrome was:
@sel = ('','option1','option1')
@val = ('value1','value2','value3')
so $sel[x] is related to $val[x]
but if you run from FF, you get
@sel = ('option1','option1')
@val = ('value1','value2','value3')
so trying to match $sel[x] with $val[x] result in an epic fail !!!
This patch address another case of this strange behaviour

This pulldown "Search Fields" can have any number of field combinations to search on. The combinations added in this commit are: Standard: Default, searches on original fields Email: Searches on email, emailpro, and B_email Borrower Number: Searches on borrowernumber Phone Number: Searches on phone, phonepro, B_phone, altcontactphone, and mobile Signed-off-by: Nicole C. Engard Tested by running searches on all the new fields, and the old fields with limits on branch and category. If there are duplicates, they can be corrected easily. Or perhaps it would perhaps make sense to have a client side check for the same fund name on the same hierarchy level. In my opinion the problem in budgets and funds is not so much possible duplication, but the missing reflection of hierarchies in display. I could imagine it would be clearer if we did something like: fund (budget) = Books (2012) or budget (as optgroup in the list) fund fund fund budget fund fund child fund child fund etc. But that is clearly a different problem :) I think libraries want to reuse their budget codes and descriptions, because they are using the names and budget codes from their institution. On one hand, if a library duplicates their budgets/funds, I can't see why they should rename them, for sure On the other hand, if a libray needs to duplicates their budgets/funds, to me, it means that they might have a lot of them. At this point, I can see why they want Koha to tell them that they already created a fund with the same name/code when they will create the funds in the first place... But, like you said, there is a conflict with this feature (duplicate budget and fund feature) http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=6943 (jonathan just tested it) So to me, there are 2 options : * we give up this feature. libraries will be able to create as many fund with the same code/name as they want (which is not going to be fun when they will have to order a new book and choose between the same fund names in the fund list or follow what amouts are ordered/spent/available for each funds on the acquisition home page... ;^) * we change the old funds code/name during the duplication process. The old fund could be pre or post-fixed by something chose when duplicating the budget/funds. But I'm not sure of the impact of this... At the same time, all the budgets will be inactive once they have been duplicated so maybe we dont care... Can you give me error messages you have? (unmodified in the new patch) 2) Added documentation for admin/oai_sets.pl and admin/oai_set_mappings.pl 3) Fixed 4) Added in the doc 5) Added brief POD documentation and help message with -h 6) Added option -i to build_oai_sets.pl to embed items information in the record before processing 8) Added options -r -l and -o -r is for reset, it truncate table oai_sets_biblios before filling it -l is for length, to tell the script how many biblios you want to process -o is for offset, to tell the script where to start processing (-l is required here) So, to build OAI sets by chunks of 5000 for example, use ./build_oai_sets.pl -r -l 5000 the first time, and then ./build_oai_sets.pl -l 5000 -o 5000 ./build_oai_sets.pl -l 5000 -o 1 ... 9) Added syspref 'OAI-PMH:AutoUpdateSets'.
