This patch allows to set sort order in LinkerOptions syspref (HeadingAsc, HeadingDsc, AuthidAsc or AuthidDsc). Without option, sort order 'AuthidAsc' is used like previsously. This is useful for FirstMatch or LastMatch linkers where results order is important. PS : This solves a problem with some headings. ie : headings "History" and "History of art". The linker search for "History" will return both headings. Why not, since it still is useful information? The proposed patch is very simple: The item type with icon from the intranetDetail XSLT is renamed to Material type. That's what it is or at least comes closer. The table below does always show item type for each item. The setting of the pref does no longer matter in that sense. Note that the normal view without xslt on staff does show item type under the title. When this was done the path to the directory was changed accordingly in most cases. However, not all famfamfam icons were moved, and some image paths were not corrected. This patch completes the move of the famfamfam icon set to opac-tmpl/lib and corrects the path to the icons on the OPAC XSL detail page and the OPAC holds page. To test, view those pages and confirm that the images work. I should've mentioned that message_transport_type is set in the database, so you would have to delete the message_transport_type of "sms" from your database in order to see the layout problem. I've done some additional research, and I think the message_transport_type of "sms" was introduced back around version 3.1, so it "shouldn't" be missing from the database. I'm not sure why it was missing in the case I encountered. I think 99% of the time, the logic I outlined above wouldn't be a problem. This patch is for the other 1% and just to remove senseless code. To test it...I would suggest applying the patch and then try it with SMSSendDrive turns on and with it turned off. The list of fields in the notice editor includes <> as an option. If this is not supported it should be removed. This patch adds code to check for the existence of the systempreferece table. If the table exists, then RaiseError is enabled on the database handle.
