And I'd guess all of the id attributes in the template within the "FOREACH lang
IN letters.keys" -loop need to be verified, not just the sms ones ... :/

Bug 17218: Stop DB user from clicking 'New list' button

To test:
1) Log in as DB user
2) Go to Lists -> New list
3) Attempt to create a new list
4) Notice that you are only stopped once you've submitted the form
5) Go back to lists, apply patch and refresh page
6) Notice the 'New list' button is now disabled
7) Click it and confirm alert shows up

interestingly... after applying this patch some previously hidden errors are
now revealed in the plack-error.log file

this new info looks useful for showing unidentified DBIx problems

I think at the moment it's built so it's possible to order records without
items - so not sure what you suggest would/should work in general. Some
libraries might want to allow orders on articles without items.

I think if we do that, we should try to fill the form in for the user. Having
found the article, they might not like to be forced to enter the information
into a form, that was obvious on the record before. But it would probably not
be easy to split up $g correctly.

Bug 12446 - Enable an adult to have a guarantor

I have rebased the patch and corrected some bugs. It should work now :)
Here's the test plan:

1) Apply the patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl to add AdditionalGuarantorField to preferences and
canbeguarantee to categories.
3) Go to patron category administration, edit a category and change the value
of Can Be Guarantee to yes (for Child and Professional mostly to set it by
default)
4) See below to test various scenarios

- Enable an adult to have a guarantor:
0.0) Create or edit a patron category of type 'A'.
0.1) Set the "Can be guarantee" field to "Yes" and save.
1) Select an adult patron -> details tab;
2) Click edit button;
3) validate "guarantor information" fieldset;

- Shows guarantees' fines in the guarantor's page:
4) Click Set to patron button and select a guarantor;
5) Generate a fine;
6) Select guarantor patron -> details tab;
7) Validate guarantee's fine information.

- Transfer some guarantor's information to the guarantee while adding a
guarantiee:
0) Select an adult patron;
1) Insert all information;
2) Click Add guarantiee bouton;
3) Validade Garantor information/Main address/Contact fieldsets filled;

- Transfer some guarantor's information to the guarantee while creating a new
patron
0) Select an adult patron;
1) Insert all information;
2) Add a new adult patron;
3) Click "Set to patron" button;
4) Select the adult patron from 0);
5) Validade Garantor information/Main address/Contact fieldsets filled;

- Transfer some guarantor's information to the guarantee while adding a
guarantiee:
0) Select an adult patron;
1) Insert all information;
2) Click Add guarantiee bouton;
3) Validade Garantor information/Main address/Contact fieldsets filled;

- Transfer guarantor's alternate address/contact to the guarantee while
creating a new patron:
0) Search AdditionalGuarantorField preference;
1) Insert some additional database columns from alternate address/contact to be
transferred from guarantor;
2) Select an adult patron;
3) Insert all information;
4) Add a new adult patron;
5) Click "Set to patron" button;

This new feature will add a link (on the top-left of the site) to the last
patron consulted in the staff site. The feature currently uses cookies to save
this information. When a staff site user accesses a patron record, the ID, name
and card number of the patron will be saved in the cookie.

hi Lari
i tested your patch, but could not get it to work

i manually edited an instance's log4perl.conf file, but all WARN messages
stopped being added to the plack-error.log file


can someone else confirm Lari's patch?

yes, thats sounds fine to me

but i'm guessing that would require manually editing each instance's
log4perl.conf file before that patch would work

i think without the manually editing each log4perl.conf file, Koha::Logger
would probably not log anything? (which would be even worse than before)

Tested this one, it works for me.
Check the log server-side and the JS console.

If you enabled plack since 17.05 you should double check the apache config
(search for "ProxyPass" and "manage-marc-import.pl")

Bug 20298: Fix SMS characters counter when TranslateNotices is set

If you have multiple languages installed, the notices and slips page
uses the same HTML id multiple times, once for each language. This
prevents eg. the SMS character count javascript from working, because
each of the textareas has the same id.

Test plan:
Test the sms characters counter, with and without TranslateNotices
Make sure other features on this page still work correctly

QA: Make sure this change of id did not break something else.

Bug 20311: Prevent get_age tests to fail on Feb 28th

Today Feb 28th 2018:
If we subtract 18y to this DateTime object 29/02/2000 and so the patron is not
major yet

use Koha::DateUtils qw( dt_from_string );
say dt_from_string('28/02/2018')->add(years => -18);
say dt_from_string('28/02/2018')->add(years => -18, end_of_month => 'limit');

will display:
2000-02-29T00:00:00
2000-02-28T00:00:00

If I have a biblio record (without items) for article XXX in serial Y and I
included a MARC21 773 host record that includes title, page info and host
record number, it would be very helpful if the OPAC form would redirect me to
the serial Y host record and I could select the correct item over there. (Can
we prefill the page info or even preselect the item?)

Probably we should assume here that the ART records have the 'Record only' rule
and the SER records have 'Item only' rule, and the record number is referring
to the local catalogue (check the marc org code?).

This raises another question as to how to order the fields when loading a Marc
record.

Let [1,2,3,4] be the framework structure
Let [1,4,2] be the saved record

Currently we load on the framework structure order, giving us
1, 2, 3 (empty), 4
This does not respect the saved record order. But if we load according do the
saved record order, where should the empty tag (3) go?  Should we place it
before the saved record's fields or after? Or do some weird half-sorted
behavior?

before : [3 (empty), 1, 4, 2]
after  : [1, 4, 2, 3 (empty)]
weird  : [1, 3 (empty), 4, 2]

Let me know if my explanation isn't clear enough.

I'm open to simplifying, but some thoughts behind the current patch that I
think should not be forgotten (most handled in the current patch):

For building a selection list client-wise, user should know which messaging
transport types they are able to select.
* Which transport types are enabled in Koha, and which transport types are
available for a particular message type? 
* Does patron have defined a valid contact information to select the transport
type (it does not make sense to provide sms selection as transport type if
patron has no smsalertnumber)?
* Is digest available for this transport type? What if a library wants to force
digest ON for some messages?
* Is days in advance available for this message?

Combine above with patron's current settings. Or do you want another endpoint
for checking what options are available and another for displaying patron's
current selections?

Also consider checking the same restrictions when PUTting data.

Some of these thoughts are probably outside of scope of this Bug but my main
point is that we should announce the available configuration options to API
consumer, not just the current selections for this patron.

As I know, Jiri is not working on Koha anymore,

I tried to somehow make a first draft of RF for this:

I wanted to simplify it, but I have not an idea if it will work ;) Maybe I
over-simplify it ;)

Mason: It seems to me that we should use Koha::Logger here and not add separate

  - Biblio search works (and facets)
