We are thinking the following would be good parameters for this: * When a guarantor or guarantee account is updated, have Koha check for connected accounts. * If detected, a checkbox is added to the edit screen to "Update connected accounts" * Upon saving the record, if the checkbox is checked, Koha will present an edit screen for each of the connected accounts, with the fields pre-populated with the updated information from the original edit screen. Instead, it might be a good idea to change the tabs to a horizontal tab menu above the table next to the search filter. The SIP server is another persistent process like those, but it currently has no functionality for flushing the L1 cache. If I understand the code correctly, it'll fetch from the L2 cache (e.g. memcached) once and then keep it there for the life of the master process. I'm not very familiar with the SIP protocol, so I don't know the best place to flush the L1 cache off the top of my head. Perhaps we should run Koha::Caches->flush_L1_caches() at the start of C4::SIP::SIPServer::process_request for every connection, or in C4::SIP::SIPServer::sip_protocol_loop or C4::SIP::SIPServer::read_request. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. I'd argue that we should be retrieving the bare minimum from Zebra and then doing the minimal amount of transforming possible. Failing that, if we have to fetch whole MARC records from Zebra, let's set up an optimized pipeline. Likewise, when an item is checked in the checkin time to accurate down to the second but only displayed to the minute. To test: 1. Apply this patch. 2. Log in to staff client. 3. Enable new syspref MARCMergeRules. 4. Click the new link "MARC merge rules" in the "Catalog" section of the Koha administration page. 5. Create a new rule: Module: source, Filter: *, Tag: 245, Preset: Protect. 6. Clicking "Edit" should allow you to edit corresponding rule. 7. Clicking "Delete" should remove corresponding rule after confirmation. 8. Selecting one or more rules followed by clicking "Delete selected" should remove all selected rules after confirmation. 9. Try creating a rule with tag set to "**", the other options does not matter. Verify that saving this rule produces an error message complaining about invalid tag regular expression. 10. Try creating a rule with tag set to "008" (or other control field) and set Appended: Append and Removed: Skip, the other options does not matter. Verify that saving this rule produces an error message complaining about invalid combination of actions for control field. 11. With the 245 rule in step 5 in place, edit a bibliographic record, change 245a for example (which should be Title for MARC21) and save. 12. Verify that the changes has not been saved. 13. Create a new rule: Module: source, Filter: intranet, Tag: 245, Preset: Overwrite. 14. Repeat step 12, and verify that the changes has now been saved. 15. Run tests in t/db_dependent/Biblio/MarcMergeRules.t and very that all tests pass. KOHA_CONF=/etc/koha/sites/kohadev/koha-conf.xml PERL5LIB=/kohadevbox/koha perl misc/harvesterd.pl --log-level DEBUG To test: 1) Start OAI-PMH harvester daemon according to the above koha-testing-docker instructions (kohadevbox can be used instead but will need some modifications) 2) Go to /cgi-bin/koha/tools/tools-home.pl 3) Click on "OAI-PMH harvester" (/cgi-bin/koha/tools/oai-pmh-harvester/dashboard.pl) 4) At the toolbar choose "New request" 5) Give the request a "Name" (e.g. Test)(this is just used for Koha and not sent in the request), add "URL" for an OAI-PMH repository (e.g. http:///cgi-bin/koha/oai.pl), and fill in the OAI-PMH parameters as desired/required (an explanation of the protocol is at http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/openarchivesprotocol.html or see attached screenshot oai_request_example.jpg). The remaining values can be kept unchanged. 6) Click "Test parameters" to make sure your inputs are all valid. 7) Click "Save" 8) Click "Actions" and choose "Submit" 9) If the submission is successful, go to the "Submitted requests" tab 10) Click "Actions" and choose "Start" 11) Go to the "Import history" tab 12) Click "Refresh import history" to update the table and see your results. I've run into a hiccup, which relates to the DB being stricter with timestamp/datetime fields I think. I'll have to fix that. Anyway, going to have to wait for another day. In any case, I really want to add unit tests for this. It's also the page where, if enabled, a user can initiate an online payment. If there's is a large history of paid charges displayed then it can be cumbersome to pick out the charges owed and scroll to the bottom of the page to reach the pay now buttons.
