I don't think there's a good reason to centering to that data. To test, apply the patch and perform a patron search in the staff client. That leads to confusion as it will not necessarily be the accurate info. Figured out why the news items weren't displaying - I was picking today's date when adding, and my local machine time was ahead of koha-testing-docker. Changed date to an early one to resolve this. The only thing I noticed was the filter for 'Display location'. If you select the Librarian Interface there are no results. However, this was happening before the patches were applied. On 11/20/2019 I check the item in using date picker/book drop setting the check in date to 11/19/2019 23:59, the patron is charged a fine, and the fine is not cleared as would be expected, since the item is being checked in before it is overdue. These fields shouldn't reset to the logged-in user's home branch just because they have an empty value. To test, apply the patch and go to Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Basket groups. We should allow that? - Multiple access directories don't show the path, that seems like useful information we should have - either we should pick the directory we want before we see the list, or we should show the path to the file. An example of a use case would be that a library wants to put their print notices there, but they also put other things in that access directory. This patch fixes the menu display. To test: 1) Go to the system preferences in administration. 2) Click the 'Local use' tab. 3) Observe the inncorrect menu. 4) Apply the patch. 5) Repeat steps 1-2 6) Observe the correct menu.
