For filtering by biblioitems fields (ISBN and EAN) I had to make the 'list' method a modified version of the objects->search helper. I thought of doing it in a more generic way but I didn't find any other use cases and it would certainly make an already complex piece of code even more complex. So this is quite similar, but at some steps the biblio. gets translated into the proper relation names, and the same happens for prefetching. A new parameter is also added: only_active. It makes the controller use Koha::Acquisition::Orders->filter_by_active, avoiding the need to build complex queries in the UI. The same handling is done when the order_id parameter is passed (outside the q= parameters). In this case using Koha::Acquisition::Orders->filter_by_id_including_transfers This is all respecting the C4::Acquisitions::SearchOrders behaviour. Bug 25670: Add filter_by_active and filter_by_id_including_transfers
This patch introduces a method to filter on the ordernumber, looking for
it on the aqorders_transfers table ('ordernumber_from' field).
It also adds a method for filtering on active orders.
To test:
1. Apply this patches
2. Run:
$ kshell
k$ prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Acquisition/Orders.t
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass!

To test, apply the patch and test various pages in the staff interface: A few suggestions: - Perform a catalog search and view the detail page for a bibliographic record. - Confirm that the search results browser in the left-hand sidebar work correctly and that the title attributes of the controls are correct. - Locate a patron with multiple checkouts. View the checkout page and test the various controls in the table of checkouts: Renew, check in, return claims, etc. - View the list of holds on a patron's account. Test suspending and resuming holds. TESTING TRANSLATABILITY - Update a translation, e.g. fr-FR: > cd misc/translator > perl translate update fr-FR - Open the corresponding .po file for JavaScript strings, e.g. misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages-js.po - Locate strings pulled from koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/checkouts.js for translation, e.g.: msgid "Checked in" msgstr "" - Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for testing). - Install the updated translation: > perl translate install fr-FR - Switch to your newly translated language in the staff client and repeat the test plan above. To make testing easier it's also a good idea to have content in the OpacNavBottom preference. - Apply the patch and run the database update process. - In the staff client, go to Tools -> News and verify that the content from OpacMainUserBlock is now stored in news items. Have a waiting hold - the expiration date of 9/9/2020. 2. Reserve table shows 9/9, request.pl shows 9/9 3. Fast forward to 9/10 4. If library is not expiring holds, this hold expiration date will now show the expiration date of 9/11 on the request.pl page. 5. The reserve table still shows the 9/9 date. It would appear that since the date picker (from the reserves.pl page) can not show dates in the past or even for the current date, it will show the next available date. This is confusing! It would be a lot easier to troubleshoot this if the barcode image would generate. We do have a number of places more recently in the updatedatebase script which will likely fail in the same way: 19.12.00.076 for example.. I think we'de need to clean up at least some of those back to a particular release if we wanted to be consistent. As it is.. Hmm.. regarding the db update can we not use $dbh->{mysql_serverversion} to
compare and only execute the update if we have an older MySQL version.. that
way we're preparing for upgrades..?
