To test: 1) Ensure UseRecalls is enabled and relevant recalls circulation rules are set 2) Check out Item A to Patron B 3) Log into OPAC as Patron A 4) Search for Item A and place a recall 5) Go back to the staff interface and search for Item A. When viewing the biblio record, go to the recalls tab. 6) Check the checkbox for your recall, and click the button to cancel selected recalls. 7) Confirm your recall is successfully removed and you're redirected to the correct recalls page for this biblio. 8) Go back to the OPAC and place a recall again. This time set the pickup location to a different library, one that you're not logged in at 9) Back in the staff interface, check in Item A and confirm the recall and transfer 10) Go to Circulation -> Recalls to pull. Your recall should show here. Click the button to cancel the recall and revert the transfer 11) Confirm the recall has been cancelled 12) Go to Reports and create a new SQL report with the following SQL: select * from branchtransfers b join items i on b.itemnumber=i.itemnumber where i.barcode = <> 13) Run the report and paste the barcode of Item A in the field 14) Confirm there are two rows returned - the transfer triggered when the recall was confirmed, with a reason of 'Recall' and a cancellation reason of 'RecallCancellation, and the transfer sending the item back home when the recall was cancelled, with a reason of 'RecallCancellation'. In that case, I'm just passing strings, but you can pass variables too. You can define your jsinclude and cssinclude blocks in your individual pages and they'll still be processed via the includes in the wrapper. On closer inspection I noticesd some of the links include 'amp;' or two encoded &'s. It would be nice if that was a command line option. To test: 1. Add new float group and some libraries to it. 2. From circulation and fine rules, set default return policy as "Item floats by library group". 3. Check out an item for a patron. 4. Set library as one that belongs in the same float group. 5. Check in the item. => Observe that notice for transfer doesn't pop up. 6. Check out again. 7. This time set library as one that doen's belong in the same float group. 8. Check in. => Observe that notice for transfer pops up. We should renamed the system preference and edit the description such that they accurately describe the behavior. This would be archived after they are reviewed by another librarian. Actually it is possible to mimick this workflow with some opac hide features present in Koha, but not on the permission side. That implies that it is a workflow that rests on the responsability of "data entry" cataloguers to not change records. This new feature would implicate to add to the current permission "edit_catalogue" two new permissions: "add_catalogue_records" and "review_and_publish_records". First permission "add_catalogue_records" would enable only to add new records, not to edit records. These records would be marked as hidden in the OPAC. This change makes this explicit in the configuration, which should make it so that people who need more than 1 simultaneous SIP connection can know to just increase the value for the "max_servers" parameter in the SIPconfig.xml file. Test plan: 1. Add "max_servers='1'" to your SIP configuration file 2. koha-sip --restart kohadev 3. Open 3 terminals 4. Run "telnet localhost 6001" on 2 terminals 5. On the 3rd terminal, run the following: ss -l -n -t ps -efww | grep "sip" 6. Note that there are 2 processes called kohadev-koha-sip: perl /kohadevbox/koha/C4/SIP/SIPServer.pm /etc/koha/sites/kohadev/SIPconfig.xml One of these processes is the parent of the other 7. The Recv-Q in the "ss" output should show 1 (This means that 1 of your telnet connections is in the server's TCP backlog) 8. We never use the patron's home library, so the reply-to address must explicitly be set in EnqueueLetter. To test: - Set up 2 branches (A and B) with different email addresses. - Set up an SMTP server for each to use - Set up an overdue notice trigger for the patron category you'll use First letter: 1 day delay, any notice - Check out an item with home branch B to a patron from A - Run the the script with: overdue_notices.pl -t --frombranch item-homebranch overdue_notices.pl -t --frombranch item-issuebranch - Confirm for each setting that the correct email headers have been used.
