I found a few more bugs in testing, but it seems to be nearly there. The only two that are definite blockers for me are some odd behavior with hold policy limits: - When trying to place a hold on an item group, I always got the prompt: "None of these items can normally be put on hold for this patron. Place hold?" although there should be nothing forbidding that hold. (with item group holds enabled and regardless of patron or AllowHoldPolicyOverride value) - The circ rule for maximum number of items allowed per record was not enforced for item-level holds. i.e. with a limit of 2, it was possible to place 3 item-level holds for the same patron even if overrides were not allowed. If overrides are allowed, there should be a warning at the top of the page, but the warning does not appear for a patron with the max number of item-level holds. Not necessarily blockers but would be nice to fix: - The select2's for pickup location are not actually disabled when the fieldset is disabled. (They are greyed out, and the data selected is not used, but they're still clickable.) Is this an oversight, or is it an unfortunate characteristic of select2's? (not necessarily a blocker for me because the visual cue and actual processing of data are correct) - When enforcing that a patron with an existing item-level hold may only place item-level holds, the heading for item-level holds says (Required) in bright red. Same thing for item group holds. However, the heading for record-level holds does not say (Required). Being able to apply CSS per notice provides that to the libraries. Martin's suggestions for sysprefs for Email and Print Notice CSS sound like lovely ideas - and can be developed separate to this feature, on another bug report. I also agree I'd like to see more use of the Notice Preview functionality - let's work on that on another bug report. There's allowed to be more than one way to do something in Koha. I don't think we should limit customisability, and I don't see the suggestions made as alternatives to this work. We should try to minimize those cases (see bug 34596) In the meantime though, we should prevent jobs possibly dying, and allow the most recent update to succeed. There is a possibility two updates wil assign different items to the same reserve, and that a reserve could end up in the queue twice, however, whichever one is filled first will delete both entries. as filling the hold deletes by reserve id (see bug 24359) To test: 1 - prove -v t/db_dependent/Reserves.t 2 - It fails 3 - Apply patch 4 - t/db_dependent/Reserves.t 5 - It succeeds! This patch will modify templates for pages under the "Additional tools" heading
on the Tools page in the staff client so that translatable strings in the
tag are wrapped in the correct translation function, e.g. [%
t('Translate me') %]

The patch also makes some modifications to titles, breadcrumb navigation, and page headers in order to make them more consistent with each other and with other similar pages. Note that stockrotation.pl has been modified so that rota information is available to the template in more cases for the purpose of showing that information in navigation and headings. To test, apply the patch and go to Cataloging. It can be configured to work with different parts of the API client This patch contains examples using the erm-api-client and the acquisitions-api-client. You can also customise the amount of characters required to trigger a search, this test plan will show two examples Test plan: 1) Create at least two licenses and agreements in the erm module 2) In Agreements, click New agreement and add an Agreement name and a Status (the required fields) 3) In the Vendor dropdown, you should be prompted to type at least one character to search 4) Search for a vendor in your koha system 5) The results should populate with that vendor 6) Select that vendor 7) Scroll down to Licenses and click add new license 8) In the License dropdown you should again be prompted to type at least one character 9) Search for one of the licenses you created earlier - it should be returned as an option in the dropdown 10) Select the license and add a status 11) Scroll to Related agreements and click to add a new one 12) This time you should be prompted to type two characters to search 13) Search for one of your agreements, you should not receive any results until two characters are provided 14) Select the agreement returned and add a relationship as well 15) Submit the form, the agreement should be saved (provided you have filled in all required fields) 16) In the list of agreements, click on your newly created agreement. It should have a vendor, license and related agreement associated with it 17) Sign off! It would be helpful to be able to group years together into decades for display. When there are potentially decades worth of a serial collection the display becomes cluttered with each year as a separate button. Even more cumbersome if there are only a few items for each year. These all trigger the cookie consents modal with no content in.. I really think we should include some default sample data in there explaining our required cookies.. and I think we should always show the 'More information' button from the Consent bar.. Regards switching away from the modal.. it would mean sharing less code in the end case as the modal is used as the 'More information' dialogue when clicked on in the banner. I do think there aught to be some default content in the modal however.. I was surprised that we don't list the required cookies and what they do at all.. only the extra tracking cookies an administrator may be adding. To me, it feels like it should sit to the left of the buttons and if it's a long content the buttons should align to sit bottom right but inline with the bottom of the content. Technically, those items are not "available", so they shouldn't be affected by this system preference. To replicate: Prerequisites : - Have at least two libraries (I used the sample libraries) - Have a patron in one of the libraries (I used Henry Acevedo), make sure you know the user id and password for that patron - Make sure the circulation rules allow holds for the patron category 1. Set OPACHoldsIfAvailableAtPickup to "Don't allow" 1.1. Go to Administration > Global system preference 1.2. Search for OPACHoldsIfAvailableAtPickup 1.3. Change the value to "Don't allow" 1.4. Click "Save all Circulation preferences" 2. Make an item "On order" at the patron's library (Henry Acevedo is at Midway) 2.1. If needed, create a bibliographic record and item 2.2. Edit the item to assign the "On order" not for loan status 2.3. Change the home and holding library to the patron's library (Midway) 2.4. Click "Save changes" 3. Try to place a hold on the item through the OPAC 3.1. In the OPAC, log in as the patron 3.2. Search for the item 3.3. Click "Place hold" --> Notice the patron's library is greyed out in the pickup location drop-down menu" 4. Apply the patch 5. See bug 31213 for searches that are affected. I'd recommend that backport is delayed on this one until some further testing has been done, but it is a minor change and works well. But we don't for authorities, where we explode with an ugly 500.
