The problem is not kopete but the yahoo server that resets the connection 
because he doesn't like the high traffic. If you want to transmit higher 
quality pictures in a higher rate you have to implement the so called Super 
Webcam feature of the Yahoo Messenger.

Hi,

hacking with the yahoo webcam stuff in kopete I've found that if I transmit 
a picture a few bytes greater than 10kbytes (adjusting the jasper 'rate' 
parameter) the data over a ¿specified? limit gets corrupted on the reception 
at the other end, resulting in losing the webcam connection. I have found 
the limit to be at around byte 10136 of picture data, which I think is 10149 
of transmitted message. I know this is not supported behaviour, but I 
comment this in case it could expose hidden bugs in the code.

Does anyone know the reason of this behaviour?
