KR> Help want with KRnet

2009-10-27 Thread pleon...@gil.com.au
To Whom it May Concern in KRnet

I have not recieved KRnet e-mail since the 7th Oct.

I thought that it was fixed when a number of you reply to my call for
help previousily. However I only received those e-mails sent to me
directly and not via KRnet.

My ISP has suggested that KRnet has drop me of the send list or KRnet
has blacklisted me.

Can the KRnet IT guru please check that KRnet is indeed sending KRnet
e-mails to me and or check if I have been black listed.

Regards
Peter Leonard

Hey KRneters,
I was just wondering where we can get KR-2 components since it sounds like
RR is
way to hard to get a hold of these days. I was also wondering if anyone has
put
a BMW motorcycle engine on a KR yet.

I'm curious. What would the engine type have do with "hard
landings". It seems to me that would be more a factor of pilot skill. :-)

Dear Mark Langford,

Dear Dan Heath,

I noticed your post about Wicks on the KR web list and I thought I would send
you a note. I am sorry you have had a bad experience with Wicks lately. If
would please help me understand your specific concerns so I can figure out what
we can do to make it better. I remember talking to you in the past and I wanted
to bring you up to date on why it appears that nothing has happened on the web
site.

Our crummy web site is now about 7 years old. Websites have greatly been
improved in recent years so I contracted with a new web designer two years ago
trying to get a better web site. After six months inputting data, spending
$14,000 with them, then six months past their deadline of delivering a working
site they lost all of our data. I finally pulled the plug on them last year. I
have since found a company that looks more promising and we should have a new
site next year. Please be patient with us and possibly call in your orders so
we can help you in the mean time.

We have actually added a lot of new inventory so I am puzzled by the statement
someone made that we "don't have stuff anymore". What things do you need that
we need to carry? What are the items that don't we have anymore? I am only
aware of a few things that have been discontinued because our suppliers quite
making them.

Some people have wondered what our Motorsports connection was and it has come
about from our customers who have found us without any attempt to advertise in
their market. Our walk in customers amount to around 25% and our phone in
customers amount to about 15% of our business. The car on our cover is a
customer of ours who works for Boeing during the day and works on his car by
night. His familiarity with aircraft parts has brought him to us to supply him
with parts needed to give him a competitive edge over other car builders.
Aircraft parts are amazingly interchangeable for use in custom car building.

The catalog is the same on the inside; I was just hoping that the car would
entice more car builders to look inside.

I appreciate knowing your concerns and I sorry for losing you as a customer.

--

And later in the day:

Thank you for responding, please feel free to post my response.

Yes our search engine is lacking, I spend a lot of time trying ours and our
competitions so I can see what is available. My new site is offering most every
desired feature that I have found on the market.

Thank you for your feedback. I hope that you will give us a try again with our
new site. Maybe after we get the bugs out of it,

In regards to the catalog, we are working on a new one now. I will see what we
can do with it.

Thank you,

Scott Wick

finished when I found I could not do the work anymore. I have a lot of stuff
but would like to have it go to someone starting to build at least the stuff

Yes. In fact, RR hasn't been producing those parts for several years. Steve
Glover at NV Aero has bought all of the molds and rights to distribute the
premolded parts from both RR and Dan Deihl.
