Interestingly enough the December 2014 issue of Kitplanes has step by step
instructions on page 86 for a DIY Break Fluid Pump System.

KR> How to add fluid to brakes / brake bleeding

2014-11-13 Thread Alex Pearson
Brake Fluid Pump System not Break - funny. I will leave the step by step to
the article but it does make use of a standard handheld plastic pump
sprayer. The article points out a short 7 item bill of materials of parts.
Looks like about an hour to build once you have the parts.

KR> How to add fluid to brakes / brake bleeding

2014-11-13 Thread danrh at windstream.net
Might work great for your set up, but I have fought this for years. Sometimes
it is more economical to admit defeat and just buy the tool.

As Larry always says, your results may vary, or something like that.

Very convenient but a pump type oil can with a spout and the correct
diameter hose works great and will save considerable dollars.

KR> How to add fluid to brakes / brake bleeding

2014-11-13 Thread Dan Heath
Check out this tool. I bought it and most of the builders at our airport
have borrowed it and some have bought their own after using it.

Best money I ever spent, that I did not want to spend.

Subject: Brakes

Hi Dan: I hope you don't care if I asked you, how do you add fluid to your
brakes? After I looked at your pictures and you have the same brakes. I am
having a hard time getting fluid in the brake system.

Thank you for your help.
