I have a KR - 1 that I am going to part out this spring. It has a VW engine on it. Not damaged or anything, just neglected for the most part. Not all rusted though either. I wont be able to get back to it till mid March though. As far as the chrome moly tubing goes, Aircraft Spruce and Wicks Aircraft are suppliers besides others. There is some Chinese steel floating around, I wouldn't trust it myself, especially on something like a motor mount.
