Going across texas I lost the tape on the leading edge on 1 blade. That put me on the ground. Luckily there was an airport below me. We left there an hour later headed for El Paso. I could not climb over the mountain witch was about 7800 ft. There was a pass at 6500 ft I was able to get thru there. When I got home I got on the phone called sturba told him what I had he sent me a prop and it was one of the best props I ever had Sent from my iPhone > On Mar 12, 2019, at 1:26 PM, Mike Stirewalt via KRnet wrote: > > Maybe they've improved them since I last had any contact/thoughts about > them but for whatever reason I've got a deep-seated dislike of the > Ivoprop. Michael, sorry but oil level can't be that high or the crank would be fighting to get through the oil on every revolution. Glad you had a good safe trip up north. See you when you get home. KR> Electronics ???
When you swing the compass, turn everything on that will be running in flight, the compass will move to its' NEW normal and set it to that. You're just proving you are smarter than magnets and linseed oil. Of course I'm as dumb as linseed oil so take it for what it cost you. -Original Message- From: KRnet [mailto:krnet-bounces at list.krnet.org] On Behalf Of Joe. E. For those of us driving to the gathering is there a special gate code to get on the airport? Would hate to get arrested for trying to scale the fence.
KR> Diehl Gear Conversions - has anyone put the brackets in the 'holes' left by the old gear?
Besides the spar being stronger next to the fuselage if you move them further outboard the ground track is going to be HUGE, mine won't fit on a standard car trailer. Patching the underside of the wing is a pain if you can't flip it over but can be done. Think of it as practice for the first time you drop something heavy on the wing.
