Re-installed the engine and found a very bad oil leak on the break in runs.  I 
think that the problem has been found and the solution is on the way.  As soon 
as I get the parts back and re-installed, and re-install the engine, I will let 
you all know the results of this adventure.  I should have the engine running 
again in about 10 days.

 You are having more than your share of bad luck with your engines.
I,m glad you are hanging "in there". Persistence pays off--I keep telling 
myself.
