I just paid 16500 for a Jabiru 3300 which is not cheap compared to a little over 6 K for a VW but what a difference in machining and up to date technology. I think that Jabiru is a breath of fresh air and a lot cheaper than Rotax and Continental. They have had some issues but seem to be trying to get through the growing pains of new development and I hear the factory is good about service issues but I wish they were a little closer.. I still have not been able to find out what a KR2 cruises at with a Jab 3300 under the hood. All The Best . I would think the new Continental 0-200D would be a good engine for the KR. I haven't seen a price, but I am sure it is crazy expensive. The 3300 isn't cheap either.
