KR> Re: Avionic Instruments and ELT requirements for experimental
I just noticed in my review for my Biennial, that it states that per FAR part 91. That a ELT is required. This was something I always wondered about. Is an ELT required on a Experimental? I know they are a great idea but they are another 2 plus pounds to add. Jeff York Lexington, KY. Great, add another 2.6 lbs or what ever. Don't tell anyone I haven't had one. Funny, I just passed my annual inspection without one. But I believe you.
