I'm looking at what I need to do to get the wings put together for the KR I got, I got the wing skins and ribs and Spars, so it seems it would be a simple process. I still need to buy a set of plans, maybe some of you have an old set?? What has been the most recommended epoxy for this purpose? Keep in mind that 85% of the plane is done, I just want a set to validate things with, and for the wings. Though I do agree, I would only worry about it not matching anything in a newer set of plans LOL. Joe On Sat, Dec 18, 2010 at 4:43 PM, Virgil Salisburywrote: > Ask Steve Glover ? Ask Steve Glover ? Do not be cheap on the plans. Get the latest set. Compared to the price of the plane, they are a small percentage of the cost, Virg On 12/18/2010 8:54 AM, Jose Fuentes wrote: > I still need to buy a set of plans, maybe some of you have an old set?? > > What has been the most recommended epoxy for this purpose? > > Joe >

For Diehl wing skins, which are made using Vinyl Ester, you MUST use Vinyl Ester to assemble them. That is what Dan Diehl told me. See N64KR at http://KRBuilder.org - Then click on the pics See you at the 2011 - KR Gathering in Mt. Vernon, Il - MVN There is a time for building and it never seems to end. Daniel R. Your skins are made with vinylester so you would be better off to use the same stuff for assembly.
