KR> Searching for OK based KR's

2008-10-12 Thread Grant Watkins
Hi All,

I'm new to the list so if I make any mistakes please let me know.

First, I'm an aviation enthusiast. I love aviation. I've been enfatuated with
anything that would fly since I was 5 or 6 years old. I was lucky enough to
start flying while I was in college. I obtained my pilots license shortly
after graduating from college in 1997. Since that time, I've not been able to
do much flying at all. I have a couple of friends that I get to go flying with
occasionally, but don't get any PIC time.

Anyway, I've recently began considering building my own aircraft. I''ve looked
at all sorts of kit planes and have settled on a few. One of the kits that I
have settled on is the KR-2. I'm also considering the Dragonfly and the
Sonerai II. I really like the KR for it's low cost, high efficiency, and the
impressive cruise speed.

I'm looking for someone in Oklahoma that has a plans or kit build KR-2. I'd
really like to look at one up close and personal and be able to talk to a
builder in person before making the decision to start building. So, if there
are any KR-2 owners in Oklahoma (I'm in the Tulsa area) please respond to this
post. I'd really like to meet you.

Thanks in advance,

Grant Watkins

Try looking at http://krnet.scottstanton.us/cgi-bin/krnet_list.pl in the
future, but there doesn't seem to be anyone signed up at the moment.

Hi, Grant,
I have been looking for the phone number, but have not found it.
One really nice KR belongs to Marty Roberts in Tulsa. He has his plane
based at the airport in Jenks. If you don't find his number, contact Dan
Diehl
at Diehl Aeronautical, in Jenks.

Marty did sell his plane. In the end, he sold it to a guy in Washington
State and delivered it in early October.
