I have the Stewart Systems DVD instruction set. I plan on using it on my
Tri Pacer in a cpl of years. School of Missionary Aviation Training at Y70
uses it exclusively. I looked at several systems and I like Stewarts the
best.
Great Luck to You!!

A reminder to everyone. Stewart Systems will be doing a forum Saturday

Pete,
I had good results using UV smooth prime. Easy on the lungs and the ability to
roll allows priming areas w/out the hassle of spraying. Multiple thin coats
for best results. It dries quickly. Squeegeeing is an important step

I think I used it (Smooth Prime) early on in my construction, but decided it
really didn't make much difference whether you use Smooth Prime or some
other standard high build primer that was sandable. I never sprayed the
prime coats, only used a roller. I actually flew the plane that way for
about 6 months. My 1st finish paint job was sprayed on using a "Boat"
acrylic enamel. That didn't last. My second paint job was Stewart Systems
and it seems to be holding up much better (rolled on).

I found it good stuff. Use credit card to squeegee first coat to fill
holes. Roll or spray several thin coats after that. Like they say, a
thick coat is a waist of time.
