KR> Well Here Go's

2011-08-17 Thread Lee Parker
I am the Lancair man.  Anyway, I got my KR signed off by the FAA today.  I am
ready to start flying my 40 off.  I don't think I will make it by the Gathering
Time.  I was scheduled to go to the Reno Air Races anyway but, I think I would
probably injoy the Gathering just as much if not more.  Have fun and enjoy.

Welcome to the club.  I sincerely wish you persevere and can enjoy the
experience, as well as the flight time, that I have over the years.  It's
become my life's work, which then evolved into a great circle of like-minded
friends

KR> Well Here Go's

2011-08-16 Thread Gary Robison
I hate to clutter up the KRnet with this but I just have
to announce it.

I retired this year on May 1st

I have under construction a 24 X 40 heated/air conditioned
"MANCAVE" to be completed in time for the gathering.

Today I called and gave up my credit card number for a pile
of spruce and plywood.

Eight years I have be looking at the KR

Four years ago I bought the plans.

Two years ago I collected 3 Corvair engines.

Let the gluing and sanding begin.
