KR>Forward c of g

2008-10-12 Thread Darren Pond
My Taylor Mono Plane (almost identical to the KR1 except my horizontal stab
is larger) has a forward c of g condition depending on fuel loading ( I
have a rear fuel tank as well as forward.
Can any one tell me with experience how much of a forward c of g they have
flown and how did it perform?

I'm looking at a 18.2% MAC full fuel in forward tank with zero in aft tank.

My target is 11.40-15.90 of the RAF48" cord
Or 23.75 to 33.125% of MAC

If I can provide flying surface dimensions could some one run them on one of
the good airplane design soft ware packages for me?

Darren and others,

Chris Heintz in his Heintz' Textbook series provides all the info you need
to calculate the c of g range of your aircraft. You will find it at:
